This area combines stunning views over vast meadows and the sea. Explore the colourful bulb fields, cycle along the coast and discover the beautiful dune area. On the way, you will pass the Donkere Duinen, a former marsh area that is now a green recreation area full of unusual birds.

There is plenty to do in Den Helder, the northernmost town on the mainland. Take a walk to the lighthouse to get a breath of fresh air, dive into history at one of the fortresses of the Defence Line of Den Helder, or discover greenery in the exotic greenhouses and the polder garden. The choice is yours!
Still feel like cycling further? Take the boat to Texel and continue your trip through the beautiful Noordkop.

• Regular bikes: €10,- per day | €60,- per week
• E-bikes: €20,- per day | €120,- per week
• Children's bikes: €6,50 per day | €39,- per week
• Child seats: €3,50 per day | €21,- per week
• Bicycle helmets: €2,50 per day | €10,- per week
